RES is pleased to keep the local community informed throughout the development process of its Blair Hill Wind Farm proposal
In March 2025, RES submitted a Section 36 application to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) for its Blair Hill Wind Farm proposal, located 2.7km north of Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway. For more information, please click here.
In response to consultee feedback on the application, RES is currently modifying the design for the Blair Hill proposal. We will provide the design update as Additional Information (AI) and expect to do this by Summer 2026. We will reach out to the local community directly in due course, and prior to submitting the AI, with further information. This website will also be updated at the relevant time.
